I’ve always turned to Humour as a means of relaxing at the end of the day! Whether that’s watching standup and seeing memes from my friends. Sharing memes is a form of sharing love, of a moment you and your friend shared! But It was in this space of ‘memes’ that ‘Capshot’ operated.
Capshot is an app for collaboratively creating memes. The image on the left is a screenshot from the app.
The collaboration angle is created through remixes and replies (which are shown as the smaller rectangles underneath).
I was brought in as a UX intern, along with another intern, to work on the interface.
My stakeholders consisted of the CEO and COO of the company. Their main goal was to get more users onboarded.
The cofounders highlighted a need to understand:
However we explained that with UX we may not get exact answers to the above questions such as ‘getting more people to download the app’, but we could conduct some research to understand how users perceived the app, and to identify usability issues. (Reword)
